PROJECT
Pal Sagon Dhungkar Choezom Monastery is a unique piece of history and culture. Situated hours away from Tibet border, this isolated monastery represents a way of life that is disappearing as more and more monasteries like this are abandoned and left to fall into disrepair and ultimately vanish. Dhungkar Choezom Monastery represents such a unique and beautiful example of Tibetan Buddhism and the culture of the area, that its loss would be a real tragedy. Restoration is urgently needed to preserve our heritage.
